This was a very exciting project, our brief from the owners of the hotel was to update re brand and refurbish their existing hotel into a luxury boutique resort. The brief was very open and we were giving complete artistic freedom to come up with a suitable design solution.

What we did:

Redesigned and refurbished the interiors of all the rooms. Sourcing and commissioning furniture from Bangkok and Bali.

We landscaped over an acre of gardens, installing pathways leading you around the resort and to quite corners in which to relax and chill. We used strategic planting to block lines of sight and to create mystery and the urge to explore.

We created a new entrance to the hotel using a heavy antique gate as a focal point and to create a feeling of sanctuary once inside the resort.

All communal public areas were refurbished with new flooring, lighting and furniture. We reconfigured the old restaurant to create a more intimate bar, lounge and dinning area.

The entire resort was painted in a soft suede brown to blend the buildings into the landscaping.

The end result is a sophisticated and luxurious boutique resort, the owners are delighted and business is booming.
